Meet Chipper (AKA UTZ) 🐾
The Backstory: Chipper earned his name after surviving at least 11 days with a purple pretzel jar stuck on his head. He’s a survivor who’s dealt with significant trauma, but he’s officially ready for his "just friends" long-term relationship.
The Personality:
Handsome & Insecure: He looks like a tough guy from a distance, but he’s actually a sensitive soul.
The "Touch-Me-Not": He’ll walk on a leash and tolerate baths, but he’s not a snuggler yet. He wants to be near you—especially during storms or fireworks—but he’s still working on leaning into the love.
Homebody: He’s most relaxed when his human is home and he has a "cave" to retreat to (think walk-in showers, cubbies, or a covered crate).
Pack Needs: He’s great with other dogs and would love a playful canine sibling to help him continue to brave the world.
The Ideal Match:
Chipper needs a calm, confident leader who accepts him exactly where he is today. He’s housebroken, loves peanut butter, and has come a massive way from that pretzel jar. He might never be a lap dog, but he’ll be your most loyal shadow.
